AFR's Peruvian Latvia x Victor's Vic Jr.

HHWI Vic Jr's Peruvian Voyager, a proven young male, has turned out to be a pleasure to have on our farm. Couple this with the fact that he is one of the last three Victor Vic Jr crias and he becomes an important part in a breeding program focusing on "Victor" style fleece. Voyager's staple length fiber is very long and has nice crimp and brightness.

Stud Fee: $800

Victor

HHWI Vic Jr's Peruvian Voyager's Grandfather

Victor was the youngest male that arrived in the Peruvian importation of 1994, and in the words of the late Dr. Jim Vickers, had the "most beautiful fleece".  Victor's fleece swept the awards in the 1995 AOBA National Fleece Show. (Completely dominated winning all five awards for fiber!), garnering awards for Best Growth Huacaya, Most Uniform Huacaya, Best Crimp Huacaya, Spinner's Choice, and Cottage Industry's Choice.  At the 1997 AOBA National Fleece Show, Victor's fleece took first place for Adult Fawn Huacaya, and overall Knitter's Choice Huacaya.  Victor sheared an incredible 14 1/2 pounds per year with over 8 pounds of blanket, and a staple length of over 6 inches.  Victor's offspring have won innumerable awards in the show ring, and include many first place and championship awards in colors ranging from white, fawn, brown, to black.  The hallmarks of Victor offspring are superior crimp, density and luster.
